Kalihi to Mililani (Central Koolau Range - Leeward)

	Reef Runway A man-made trail on a man-made island, this coastal trail semi-circumnavigates Honolulu International Airport's 13,000-foot Reef Runway. A favorite route for local fishermen, the aircraft fly-overs makes it the noisiest trail on the island!
	Puu Keahi a Kahoe Trail Keahiakahoe, Moanalua Middle, Moanalua-Tripler Emerging from Moanalua Valley, this trail will bring you to awesome views of the windward coast overlooking Likelike Hwy. However, watch your footing (not the views) while traversing the narrow crest section!
	Halawa Ridge Trail Graded, relatively-level... so why am I tired? This long, mostly wind-less walk parallels H-3 all the way to its tunnels and beyond. At the gusty terminus, stand within a notch in the crest as cars stream in & out of the tunnels several hundred feet below.
	Aiea Loop Trail Keaiwa Heiau Loop A simple, 4.5-mile stroll through shady forests of guava, albizia, koa, and pine. A popular trail for mountain-bikers and family hikers of all skill levels, expect heavy traffic on weekends. Few views are offered because of its dense forest surroundings, but expect great birding opportunities!
	Aiea Loop Bisectional Trail Aiea Bisectual Try this easy variation of Aiea Loop Trail which explores the area's inner terrain. Use it to shorten your Keaiwa Heiau experience or append it to the loop trail for a more interesting hike.
	Aiea Ridge Trail Ungraded! This rollercoaster trail sends you up and down and over again! Don't expect to hike this without breaking a monster sweat, a serious huff and puff, or muddy hands. Serene, peaceful views from Ahuimanu to Kualoa at the terminus.
	Waimalu Ditch Trail McCandless Ditch Escape the hustle and bustle of the Pearlridge commercial and Pearl City residential areas with a quiet walk in Waimalu Valley. While most of the ditch trail is an easy contour, you'll sweat on the ascent back.
	Waiau Ridge Trail This difficult, major ridge to the Koolau crest connects east Pearl City, Waimalu, and west Aiea. Its healthy collection of native plants and trees is something to marvel on any short loop-hike or all-day trek to its distant summit.
	Waimano Ridge Trail Upper Waimano Ridge A river runs through it! This graded ridge trail dips down into Waimano Stream before resuming the lengthy ridge ascent toward the overlook of Waihee Valley. But beware of its 14-mile length!
	Manana Ridge Trail Hike one of the most difficult "rollercoaster" trails on Oahu, but only if you are fit for it!
